A Valentines Day Lesson is a fun way for kids to learn while they celebrate the holiday, and Teacher Created Materials brings an Ebook for just that and more. This Valentines Day Thematic Unit Ebook is geared for Grades 1 – 3, and is based on 3 different books:  “The Valentine Bears,” “One Zillion Valentines,” & “My Heart Book.”  The activities offered start with the History of Valentines Day, and offer creative ideas for teaching key subjects, including poetry writing,  potato print math, science studies of the heart, valentine checkers (art), songs for the heart (music), and chocolate treats (life skills), among others.  The culminating activity is a Valentine Bear Party.   What a great way to celebrate learning with Valentines!
